Refund & Cancellation Policy

Swargiya Shravan Memorial Educational Trust (SSRMET) has instituted this donation refund policy to ensure fair processing of refund requests.

1. Refund Considerations

1. SSRMET will examine each refund request and process eligible refunds within 7-14 working days.
2. SSRMET may seek explanation, reason and documents of proof.
3. SSRMET is not obliged to make refunds and may decline particularly if a 80G certificate has been issued or funds deployed.

2. How to Request a Refund

Email info@ssrmemorial.org with: date of donation, amount, mode, transaction ID, and reason.

3. Time Limit

Refund requests must reach SSRMET within 7 (seven) days from the date of donation.

4. Refund Method

Refunds, where approved, will be made to the same instrument used originally. Refunds may take 7-14 working days. Payment-gateway charges are non-refundable.

5. Cancellation of Recurring Donations

You may cancel a recurring donation at any time. Cancellation requests will be processed before the next billing date if received at least 3 working days in advance.

6. Tax-Exempted Donations

Once an 80G certificate has been issued, refund is generally not possible. If approved exceptionally, the donor undertakes not to claim the related tax exemption and to surrender the original certificate.

7. Errors & Duplicate Payments

If a donation has been processed in duplicate or in an obviously incorrect amount due to a technical error, SSRMET will proactively initiate a refund.
